Whats the realest southern hip hop site? It’s TrillSouth and that of course is why Im back with another fresh release. It’s a brand new video from Trae for the track ‘Nuthin 2 A Boss’ featuring Slim Thug. It’s Houston, Texas representing and just like the sign says at the beginning of the video, Trae Is Houston! I told you that labels dont mean shit these days unless you want to just look pretty on BET for a minute, but dont want to have that cash in your pockets. You can be a broke star, or you can be a hood star and get money like Trae is doing. This video is hot, so check it out.

It’s a brand new track from that boy Killer Mike. He says he’s the shit and the song is titled ‘Im the Shit’ but is it the shit? I listened to it and I guess I missed it because it’s not the shit. Thats just the opinion of one man so dont take it to mean more than that. I guess I just don’t feel much of what comes out of Atlanta for some reason. Are you feeling this track, is it the shit? Is Killer Mike the shit and do you look forward to what he throws out?

Well I would have expected more but Three 6 Mafia debuted at the 5 spot on the Billboard 200 this week. It was hard to overcome Lil Wayne who’s still hanging strong at #2 with plenty of sales to keep up his double platinum pace. Have you copped the album yet and are you feeling it. I know I like that track number 5 with Pimp C and Project Pat on it. Ill get up a review this next week for those of you who haven’t bothered to go out and get a copy yet. It’s not a bad album, not their best, but it’s not bad for what we get these days in the music industry with lowered expectations.

Damn people how far has hip hop fallen that anyone accepts any bullshit. Rappers cant sell, they cant rap and they really arent freestyling. Since when did a freestyle become you saying some shit you’ve already said before or written down in the past? If you can’t freestyle then you can’t freestyle, dont front on being something you’re not.

But then again rap today is 90% fronting on being something youre not. Whether you got all your so called gang tats after you were rich. You’re a fake blood, fake crip, fake d boy, you used to be a pimp, player or whatever you’re just not real. Why cant you be you and why cant you just admit that you dont freestyle. Not everyone can freestyle, maybe you write better in the studio and put together hot music thats gotta be produced. Dont be ashamed. On the flip side why does every goofy ass media person assume that because you rap you can freestyle right on the spot.

Stop faking the game and ruining the name of hip hop. It’s a TrillSouth movement and Im about that real shit. Say some real shit, be real and be who you are. But really get the fuck out of here with your bullshit non freestyle freestyle that you already wrote or said before! Much respect to those of that you that truly freestyle and battle on the block or at the club.

The day has come once again, a new Lil Wayne video has been dropped on the world. It was tonight on BET 106 & Park, the world premiere of Wayne’s new ‘Milli’ video. Thats the song that has spawned what seems like a million remixes. So check out the video and let me know what you think? Damn its about time we got to catch a new Trae video. Today is that day and I’ve got the brand new video for ‘Im Fresh’ off the latest mixtape. Trae is grinding hard, doing that independent grind and showing how it should be done. You stay busy at shows, you do your own videos and you release hot mixtapes for the people. Check out the video, its looking pretty good. Im sure how much I like this track but Im sure that plenty of you Trae fans love it. Trae is down with TrillSouth though as you’ll remember, and he’s one of the realest artists in the south or the whole hip hop game.

Interesting how this video comes out and the ‘Recession’ EPK is still missing. Was there something said in it that I hadn’t noticed or paid attention to? Here’s what USDA has to say about this video.

In the new August Vibe Magazine cover story with Young Jeezy, he is quoted as saying “No disrespect to Barack, but I fuck with John McCain,” which came moments after shaking the hand of the Arizona Senator and presumptive Republican Presidential nominee on the set of his Saturday Night Live performance with Usher in May. He adds in the article, “I like Barack, but at the same time I wanted to see what McCain was talking about.”

Jeezy, who has been a visible Obama supporter in recent weeks and has been seen wearing the message “My President is Black” during various appearances has just posted a video response to clarify his position:

“I represent the Democratic party…I’ve never been nor do I ever plan to be a John McCain supporter,” says Jeezy. “I support Barack Obama.”

So watch this video and tell me something. Sure the fan actually has a valid question if you’re paying attention. She’s asking why do superstars, rappers or whoever do stupid shit like this to put their career and everything in jeopardy when they’re so well off. You dont have to continue doing dumb shit because you’ve got it made now is basically what she’s saying. She asks TI about the guns and thats the wrong thing to do. But tell me while you’re watching this video dont TI and the whole crew with him seem, well a little fruity, goofy, I dont know what you want to call it. But they sure come off as being soft and full of themselves, along with their heads buried in his ass.

You know Buck has done it again, he’s got a hot track dissing G-Unit and 50. But I keep wondering why does he continue to go so hard at them. Doesnt he realize he’s falling into the trap by spending all his time in the studio concentrating on these guys who don’t pay him and he wont get paid for dropping a million diss tracks. He should have taken the heat and publicity and ran with some hot tracks and dropped a mini album on iTunes or put out something big as fast as he can. It also makes you wonder if he’s got to bark so much maybe he’s trying to cover something up. He’s a damaged man and diss tracks won’t get you rich or get you respect. Put your mind back in the game and get on your grind Buck!

It’s Young Jeezy and he’s got a few things to say and talk about in this video. It’s pretty serious compared to what you might expect. His upcoming album is titled ‘Recession’ and in this video he talks about everything from the economy and how its affect black America to how he supports Obama. I’d like to see him talk about how the economy and the system affects poor people not just one race or another because thats the real issue. All this talk about race is just keeping us from coming together instead of making it better, thats the real issue. Either way check out the video and post your opinions.
