Thats right its more news about the boys The Big Red Rooster. This time its a live event where you can see them perform, meet them and also view the new video as its released officially to the public. It’s a hit track already in Dallas and you’ve already seen it on here. So Saturday night December 1st you can come to the event and hang out and have a good time. I’ll be on the scene capturing a little video and partying with the crowd, so let me know whats up if you see me. The party is at Wish in Dallas, on Saturday night!

So it was a late night people so Im a little behind on throwing up news and what not. But I do have a little clip from last night hanging out with some of the Hypnotized Minds camp. It was a late night in downtown Dallas, but we managed to do it a little bit big and I caught up with Project Pat and Lil Wyte after the show and caught a little clip. Theres plenty more video to come when I get back from the hotel and post it up next week. I’ve also got some of the live performance of Mr Lucci, Mr Pookie, Stoney Crook, Big Red Rooster and of course Project Pat, Lil Wyte and Frayser Boy. Yeah it’s more Birdman and I know maybe you’re tired of it. But on the flipside these Cash Money boys have been holding it down for a minute now. I’ll admit there have been a few tracks that I like and they always keep a hot beat for the club. Maybe I don’t buy their shit but I definitely don’t mind it, especially when the ladies move to it real well.

So Birdman is working on dropping that ‘5 Star Stunna’ album into stores in just a little under 2 weeks. On December 11th to be exact. So in combination with that he’s got these web videos that are going up on YouTube in the past day to tell you what being a ‘5 Star Stunna’ is about and how you can do it too. Some of them are a little over the top, mainly the first and second one, but the rest when he gets into the cars and the hustle arent all that bad. I dont know how I missed this one but Im finally getting caught up and getting it right. It’s my man Yung Texxus AKA Mista Green and he’s bussing it wide open literally with this ‘Buss It Open’ track on all the latest HustleFam mixtapes. The track features Yung Joc, and although Im not a fan of Joc, I am a fan of this track. Im adding it to my playlists and going to see if the ladies can work their jelly to it like I think they will.

Yep the news is fresh on the wire from last night. Birdman was arrested along with several others in his group and will be facing charges soon. Here’s the story straight off the AP wire.

KINGSPORT, Tenn. (AP) — Rapper Bryan “Birdman” Williams was among 16 people charged with possession of marijuana Tuesday after the RV they were riding in was pulled over by police for making an improper lane change.

Kingsport Police Cpl. Tim Horne said he stopped the vehicle after seeing it force a tractor trailer into the emergency lane on Interstate 81. Horne said he could smell marijuana from inside the rented RV and located about a pound of marijuana in a trash can in the kitchenette after obtaining consent to search the vehicle.
Williams, 38, his wife Brittany, 18, and his brother, Ronald Williams, 43, were each charged with possession of more than 1/2 ounce of marijuana as were 13 others, several of whom are also affiliated with the rap industry and Cash Money Records, which was founded by Bryan and Ronald Williams.

Among those arrested were road manager Shahid Muhammad, 40, Cash Money Records promoter Casey Collins, 42, and music promoter Ovide Antoine, 32, of Miami, Fla.

All 16 remained jailed late Tuesday night. It was not known if any of them had an attorney.
The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms is assisting in the investigation because an assault rifle, a handgun and a magazine for a .45-caliber handgun were found on the RV, Horne said. No weapons charges have been filed.

The group said they were traveling from New Orleans to New York for a BET network shoot, Horne said.

Wow Birdman’s wife is 18, thats one of the things I noticed. Another is that marijuana charges usually dont end up with you spending time in prison. But what priors does Birdman have if any? What about the weapons charges, who will they stick those to?

Whats up, what it do, what it is? This time I’m back with a real true spotlight, some would say a trill indie spotlight! It’s my boys from the 903 in Texas. That’s northeast Texas if you dont already know and Im talking about the 93rd Fam boys. It’s small town Texas on the block and the streets and it’s all real out here if you dont already know. These guys have been grindin on the streets out here trying to mash up mixtapes, cd’s and dvd’s for a minute.

The first time I met up with these guys they weren’t sure about me. Some random white dude walking up in the middle of the mix and saying whats up. But we talked for a minute, got real for a minute, and then got onto the real business, the music. That’s when I heard a little bit, but one track caught my attention right away. It’s titled ‘Locc’d Out’ and Im going to present it to you, and let you hit them up on their personal MySpace as well as download the track. You can of course add it to your profile on the 93rd Fam MySpace if you like too, or pass around this link and let it be known whats up.

I know the haters will come out, but fuck’em. This is straight street music from real people, not overhyped studio bullshit. These boys put it together on a personal computer and burned it to cd like you should be doing if you want to get yours too. So today Im hitting you with a Black Wallstreet track and Im sure you’re wondering why. Well it just so happens that we’ve got a Hustlefam member on the track. Im talking about Mr Rellik who you should remember from the ‘I See Dead People’ track that I posted on here in the past few weeks. That was definitely a hot track and Mr Rellik has added some heat to this song for sure. I get the feeling you better be on the lookout for these Hustlefam cats because they’re really starting to catch fire in the south.

It was only a few days ago that I talked about the anticipation around this video. There was a trailer and alot of talk about what the Birdman was going to do. Well now the video is here and I dont know if you’ll feel like me, but Im disappointed. I’ll let you be the judge like I do with everything else. It’s only one mans opinion, but mine is not a good one. I’ll admit Im not a Birdman fan to start with, so that might influence me a bit. But Im also tired of songs about nothing but money, jewelry and cars, of which Birdman has done plenty of.

Whats up people it’s another Monday and Im about to set it off with a real good interview that I did not too long ago. This interview is with Smitty. I know you might be wondering who that is and what he’s about, but trust me after the interview you’ll realize that you already know plenty of his work and you’ll want to check out a lot more.
