Alright alright I was a little bit bored and playing around with the laptop and thought I’d throw up a little preview of a track for you to check out this weekend. Yeah it’s me and Im way too critical of myself so I wont even tell you my opinion of the work on it so far. I’ll just let you listen and you tell me which way you think I should move with it or post your suggestions. So remember to ‘Hustle Hard’ this weekend in the TrillSouth the True Real South!

I posted up a little track from 9th Ward recently and yeah I pretty much blasted him for the content and quality of the song. Well today I’ve got the new 9th Ward video and I’ll let this speak for itself and you can tell me what you think of the difference between the previous track ‘Add Me Up’ and this track.

You can let me know are you feeling 9th Ward and do you want to see or hear more of him on TrillSouth or is this shit bad from the get go? I know how I feel about it already, do you feel the same?

Thats the truth of the story. You might see in a few places that Bun B’s followup album or second album ‘II Trill’ debuted at #2 on the Billboard 200 this week but what they didnt tell you is it sold less copies than ‘Trill’ in it’s opening week. ‘Trill’ debuted at #6 just a few years ago with 118,000 in sales for it’s opening week. This week ‘II Trill’ debuting at #2 managed only 98,000 in sales. So while the headlines might say Bun scores a #2 spot they dont tell you his sales went down in the first week even though he’s better known and had a pop type single playing.

I know many of you have bought and supported this release, but can you tell me it’s better than ‘Trill’ was? Or are you just now getting on the bandwagon since the death of Pimp C? For me after listening to both releases there is really no comparison, ‘Trill’ is a far better piece than this latest release. I don’t need pop stars and multiple features to sell me, I need Bun doing what he did back when he was an Underground King. So there’s always a little more than a headline to every story, pay attention to this one.

I know my people remember my Texas partner SparkDawg and if you dont then what the fuck are you doing on this site? This is TrillSouth and Spark just hit me with the latest hot shit that he’s throwing out at the people on the streets. Im talking about a real street video titled ‘Lets Get It.’ If you haven’t seen it then you’ve been on the wrong bullshit hip hop sites because this is what the streets want to hear. As if there wasnt enough Lil Wayne all over the net these days there’s now a whole lot more. We’ve got access to some Lil Wayne ‘Countdown To The Carter’ episodes from YouTube and Im sure there are going to be more. This is only the begining with 1 exploring the early years of Wayne. Really whats good out there in Texas and the south? TMI Boyz dropped their album on May 20th and I’ve hardly heard a word about it or seen a review. I know that Wendy Day is doing the damn thing trying to get them out there but why isnt it hitting across the south? ‘Grindin For A Purpose’ is the name of the album that dropped last Tuesday and in case you dont know much about it I’ll drop the album cover on you and the tracklist so that you can see there definitely is something worth listening to on it.

It’s time for me to throw up a track that I got from my homeboy Short Texas recently. You know he was part of an Indie Spotlight and is working on doing bigger things in Texas this summer. So let’s start it off with his new track titled ‘They Actors’ and you tell me what you think. Its been a minute since I’ve been getting the site updated. This past week I was traveling alot for the death of my father from last weekend. So I’m a little behind on all of the updates, reviews, videos and news. But this week I’ll be getting it back together. So relax a little today, be thankful for the those that are close to you and thankful for those veterans that gave to keep this country free.

So it finally happened, yesterday that brand new Bun B ‘II Trill’ finally dropped into stores. Did you cop it already and if you didnt, what are you waiting for? I know I was just on iTunes grabbing my copy this morning and listening through the previews and reading the reviews. Although this is one album that I dont need to read reviews on to know if Im buying or not. So if you’ve already got it tell us all what are your favorites tracks and what do you think. I’ll see about getting a review up in the coming days and let you all know how I feel about it too.

So TI says he doesnt know Shawty Lo, well look what we have here fresh from Shawty Lo. It’s a pic of him and TI taken in 2006. Be on the lookout because Shawty got that TI yearbook photo as well and Im going to post it up real soon. It’s not looking good for TI these days in many ways, he sure never was the king of the south in the eyes of TrillSouth and he never will be.
