How many of you have been fiending for some more hot Rich Boy tracks? I know I copped that last mixtape and have still been playing it. It went down last year at Suite for the 1st Play N Skillz 1980’s themed Halloween party and its about to go down again this year. I cant tell you for sure whether or not I’ll be there. I’ve been invited but it appears this year theres more of a red carpet event out front at the House of Blues Foundation Room. If you know me then you know I dont really like the red carpet bullshit of 20 people with cameras all begging for a minute of time to ask someone the same question that 10 other people already asked. I guess the red carpet thing its just more about appearances and I’d rather do my videos from the stage, the crib or somewhere else in the streets and not ask the same bullshit as everyone else.

So I cant say whether or not I’ll be there. It is a private party so you have to be on the guest list and there will be appearances by Slim Thug, Tum Tum, some of the Dallas Cowboys, Brandon Bass of the Dallas Mavericks. Of course Play N Skillz with be there and a few other celebrites as well. So if you can get on the guest list then get in where you fit in because you’ll definitely have a great time. Maybe you’ll see me in the spot and you can say whats up.

You remember the name VIC from the summer hit ‘Get Silly’ with SouljaBoy heavily involved. Well now VIC is releasing this video ‘By Faith’ thats meant to be inspiring or thoughtful and Im dropping it on you to check out. Are you feeling VIC’s flow in this one or the theme? I know he’s talking about some serious shit but Im not sure Im feeling the flow. Either way it’s good to see someone saying something about things other than chains or clubs.

You guys know that Rob G is doing it in Texas. He’s straight out of Houston and has had to grind to get a little bit of timein the spotlight and things are finally starting to move. Well today I’ve got his latest brand new video, fresh off the internet and into your computer screen. I just wonder if my TrillSouth people are feeling what Rob G is doing with his music? Its about time we saw a brand new Trae video. So today I’ve got the ‘Streets Advocate’ video. I dont really like the song and Ill admit that upfront. Maybe you like it and the video. Im a fan of some of the tracks that Trae has done, this just isnt one of them. You’ll even notice a little appearance by J Prince to show that its still all good between Trae and Rap A Lot even though he’s independent now.

It’s been a minute since we’ve heard SPM speak. He’s mostly been able to write a little here and there and released one album while locked up. Well it seems theres a lot of hype surrounding another new release of his thats scheduled to drop in November according to Dope House Records. This time they got out a little audio and well I admit Im a fan of SPM rhymes it seems like for getting some audio out to the streets from jail he wasted a lot of the chance he had to say something. Thats a shame, but thats how it goes so check out the audio.

Well it’s finally the release of the full ‘Turn My Swag On’ video by SouljaBoy. I expressed my opinions on this one when I saw the preview. The track has a catchy beat and hook but pretty much no lyrical content which is typcial of a SouljaBoy track. He’s got a formula thats working for him and you cant hate him for exploiting that to get money. So here’s the video to what is likely to be a popular track with the teenage crowd. I find myself disgusted by the flaunting of money in the way he does it, especially in these rough economic times. It remains to be seen how long this weak formula will last and if SouljaBoy has some substance to share, Im guessing the answer is no.

Man get the fuck out of here BET. The BET Awards are straight up bullshit if you havent figured that out already. That channel has progressively gone downhill since they stopped airing my favorite show BET UnCut late at night. At this point they’re catering to 15 year old boys and girls and naming Lil Wayne Lyricist of the Year is a fucking joke. This kids lyrics are worse than a fucking nursery rhyme most of the time. Almost any hot lyric he’s ever had was written for him and he’s not lyrically deep like the people he was nominated against, such as Nas to name one. So once again it’s fuck BET and that bullshit they’re selling to the people.

You remember J Money from that hit track ‘Peanut Butter and Jelly’ Im guessing. He featured Cadillac Don on it and it blew up last year and won an SEA award. Well check out the new J Money track with a feature from Rick Ross. Thats right he’s got a feature from the boss on a new track titled ‘Im Ballin’ and its ready to blow up the airwaves this fall.

If you havent already heard Trae has got a cartoon coming out. Well its not exactly on the Cartoon Network but it’s going to be on his website and I’ve got the preview video for you to check out. The cartoon was done by a man who’s been doing a lot of the hip hop cartoon characters that you’ve seen around. Ill let you peep the video and decide for yourself what the point of this is.
