You read that shit right and we discussed it here last week. Lil Wayne will officially be announced as reaching sales of just over 1 million in his opening week of the ‘Carter III’ tomorrow by Billboard. Thats going platinum in a week and hasnt been done since 50 did it in 2005. Kanye didnt even do it with his last release falling short by a little less than 50,000 scans. So Wayne is definitely the hottest rapper in the game today as far as sales go and I can see this album catching serious heat and going double maybe triple by the end of the year.
