So we’ve finally got the official Pimp C apology and it just happened on the Greg Street show on V103 in Atlanta. He put it correct again, the same as he did before but this time apologizing for saying that Atlanta wasn’t a part of the south. Everything else he stands by and has apologized to the UGK fans, the ATL people and the all the hip hop fans as a whole. You can check out the audio for yourself and see what you think because he definitely doesnt back down from the truth that he was spreading and 90% of what he said on the other interviews.

Pimp C is still keeping it real. It takes a real man to apologize for his mistakes, but he was not lying. I remember when Russell cam to Dallas for the hip hop summit in 2002. he was on stage talking about he don’t censor his artist because he think that they should be able to say what they want to and now he is being a hypocrite. Pimp was right to call him out. Pimp keep doing your thing. Just like my boy 6’2 says, niggas need to stop dry snitchin and not keepin it real with the people.

Hey mane dat Pimp C interview was the most refreshing shit I have heard in a while, it sounded like a Farakkan speech but to the nation of hip hop. You might not like some of the things he said but if it hurt then you must be guilty of something. The Atlanta not being the south was a stretch but he retracted the statement, the other stuff was all valid and relevant and needed to be said. We got to get this shit together, why hip hop got to be dead when the south is at the helm, we never heard that before. That is b/c they think we stupid and can’t produce something of relevance, so we have to prove them wrong and start rappin about some real issues, we got a story to tell, we are the backbone of this ountry. We are the direct descendents of the slaves that worked these fields and built these railroads and raised livestock and poultry to fuel this nation in its infancy. It is only right for us to be in this position but to whom much is given, much is required. Chuuch!!!!!!
