Man I see that MTV Jams is running a Texas Day and its really about time, but just one day is a small gesture if you ask me. How can you really cover the history, past, present and future of such a large state in just one day. I dont really think it can be done and I know a lot of artists will be left out, as well as DJ’s, websites like mine one of the few actually based in Texas and putting on independent Texas shit almost every other day. But there will be a lot of people who arent part of the cool kids and not get in on the spotlight as brief as it might be. So Im saying whats up to all the people who support this independent Texas hip hop in various ways especially the fans and people who actually pay for their music. Im saying come back to TrillSouth and add us to your bookmarks because you’ll find plenty of new music, independent people who are out there and trying to get their voice heard. We dont do the bullshit politics here, the cool kid groups and trendy bullshit. We’re straight to the music, the videos and the movement that hip hop is and you really be about hopefully with a message.

So thanks for visiting TrillSouth, tell a friend and come back because it’s Texas Day almost every other fucking day on here, not just one day a year or every few years! Shoutout to everyone getting the recognition they deserve, here, there and everywhere. Support real hip hop not bullshit and the people who are trying to exploit us for the moment while we’re on.
