Man I had this for a minute and forgot. I know you already liked that Yung Ralph ‘Look Like Money’ track. But I’ve had the remix just sitting for a minute and forgot to share it with you because I got caught up in everything else going on. This remix features none other than the boss, Rick Ross. So let me finally drop it on you and let you tell me if it’s hotter than the original, or if they should have stuck with classic.

Yeah the official Gucci Mane release has hit your local stores today. Are you interested, or do you already have it banging in your ride? I cant say Im a fan but I might peep it a little more since I’ve already heard most of it. Maybe it deserves a review or a few more listens for me to get serious about whether or not it’s worth the money. I know there’s been plenty of hype that seemed like it peaked a little too soon. The track with Pimp C seems to be banging, but that’s because every track Pimp C ever blessed was worth hearing. So get your your opinions in, if you’ve already got it or are thinking about getting it.

It’s Tuesday and thats new release day as you already know. So how about a release from a southern OG that hasn’t dropped anything on the scene in a minute. Im talking about C Murder a brand new DVD release titled ‘The Movement.’ I’ve got the trailer here for you to view and find out a little of what its about and maybe it will let you know if you want to hit up your local today and grab your own copy. Here lately I’ve got some people pushing Sonny Rich at me and this new single ‘Stunners.’ Im going to let you be the judge as always and leave my opinion to myself on this one. It’s getting ready to hit airwaves and iTunes real soon in advance of his album to come in Spring. It’s got that southern swag to it, it’s a club type of track it sounds like to me. Is it better or any different than anything else out there already, you tell me!

Yo I caught up with my man Young Cliff in Dallas this past weekend and was going to share some of this video earlier but the Pimp C thing sidetracked us all. Well it’s time to start getting back to a little biz and letting people know how and where its going down. Here it is, it’s about what I expected. It will be a bit of time before the official cause of death is determined and speculation about it is disrespectful to his family and friends. There are plenty of posts on here where you can listen, watch or reminisce about Pimp and what he did for the southern rap game. FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Los Angeles, CA - Manager Rick Martin, who was on hand this morning to identify the body of client and dear friend Chad Butler aka Pimp C, offers this statement regarding today’s tragic loss:

This morning saw the loss of a man that was not only a client, but a very dear friend at a time when he had the most to live for. He was my best friend and I will always love him.

Chad’s tragic passing leaves behind mourners the world over, including his mother, wife and children whom Chad loved more than anything. An official cause of death has yet to be determined.

I was so very proud of Chad and the growth he has shown since his release from prison; as an artist and business man and as a person. As one half of the legendary Texas group UGK, Chad was finally seeing the results of the years of love and labor that he and Bun B have put in over the years, culminating in the tremendous success of their album, Underground Kingz. Chad was set to soar with not only a new solo deal on Jive Records, but a lucrative publishing deal, a new satellite radio show, several group projects and a national cologne endorsement. Chad had everything to live for, making his unexpected passing a travesty.

Right now, my number one concern is the well being and livelihood of his family who are the ones most deeply affected by this loss. All efforts will be made to ensure that they are properly cared for in this tragic time and beyond.

As Chad’s friend and manager, and on behalf of his family and those closest to him, we ask that you, the press keep reports of his passing to tributes to his amazing contributions as an artist and wait for the facts surrounding his death to come to light. Please let us all remember Pimp C as the kind and warmhearted man and rap music pioneer that he was.

Represent for Pimp C and what he did for the south and southern rap music. What he stood for was the real shit, not fake game shit. Pimp was about coming together, getting money and building up not tearing down.
