Project Pat is on the way back like I told you a few days ago and this is the ringtone jam for the fall. It’s Project Pat and Princess and I think you know what they’re talking about. You’ve had that person that’s blowing up your cell and you just can’t get them to shut it down. You know I was feeling that old school Houston mood the other day and through up this little video on the SOHH Dirty blog of mine and people were feeling it so I thought I’d put it up here too. Talk about a video with very few views but definitely worth watching. This will take you back to when Lil Flip was really doing his thing, back when Houston was just getting put on the spotlight and when the scene was hotter than ever. And so the exodus continues and you have to wonder why. Trick Daddy is the latest artist to decide he’s done with Slip N Slide or TVT Records. Countri Boi made a very quick exit but Trick has been there holding it down for a while so it makes you wonder what has changed to make him want out. Either way it appears as though he’ll shortly be free and back to working and grinding hard again.

Don’t believe the rumors, you know these gossiping girls have nothing to do but make shit up on their own. Trick isn’t being dropped because of acting like a Diva or having issues. I know sometimes I can’t help but think if these gossipers had nothing but their imagination and making shit up they’d have nothing in the music game. They clearly know nothing and anyone can sit and make shit up.

That’s right we’re about to get some new Project Pat this month. October 30th to be exact and I got the album cover in the email today and thought I’d share it with everyone. Pat recently left his contract with Sony to go the indie route and ended up with Koch.

This is a Hypnotized Minds albums with Project Pat in the lead and should produce some ringtones and bouncy club type hits for you to get up to. You’ve probably already heard his single Don’t Call Me No Mo or maybe the recently leaked Rubber Band Me and know a little of what to expect. Or if you’re like me you’re still jamming that Chickenhead track on occasion. So check out the album artwork and stay tuned for more news this month of Project Pat!

I know you guys haven’t forgot the classic Still Tippin that was part of the Houston blow up have you? Well I spotted this video from about the time Chamillionaire released Ultimate Victory and it’s a little bit of a treat. It’s Mike Jones doing Still Tippin with Chamillionaire & Famous. Yeah that’s about as good as it gets to take you back a few years to when people were just starting to get all on Houston and realize what was about to happen. So which one are you going to buy? I sat at the computer for a minute last night debating getting the Foxx album Street Gossip but never ended up buying. I listened to previews of each track and only a few stood out. So will I buy it, Im not really sure, but I know I wont be buying that Souljaboy ever, never ever! However I know it’s going to sell a bit and it’s priced to sell at less than $10, $7.99 to be exact on iTunes and Amazon. So it’s not likely that I’ll get a chance to review either of these but thats by choice. If you feel Im missing out or you need a review then let me know, otherwise get into the stores and buy at your own risk today!

You know that boy Foxx is dropping his first major release into the stores tomorrow. It’s entitled Street Gossip and to be honest I haven’t found a lot of info on it. So I guess you could say there’s not much street gossip about Street Gossip. Alright that was corny, but I’ve got the TrillENT trailer for the album because I know you guys are fans. So check out the video and if you can’t wait check your iTunes late tonight to get that new album. If you’re patient then get into the stores tomorrow and check it out.

This weekend it was announced that the upcoming and anticipated David Banner album The Greatest Story Ever Told was pushed back to November 20th. That’s also Black Friday, or the day everyone hits the malls hard after Thanksgiving and buys up all the stuff on sale. Anyway Banner’s album is pushed back just a short bit and should be worth the wait. It will only give him more time to get all over some other people and get all up in the media some more. Stay tuned for the album though it’s got featured guests like Chris Brown, Jim Jones, Lil’ Wayne, Snoop Dogg, Akon, Yung Joc and more!

You read the title right Gucci Mane is actually asking his fans not to buy a new album Trap A Thon released on Big Cat Records. In a recently released statement Gucci claims that this album was released without his permission and was done prior to him signing his major label deal. So basically he doesnt want you to buy something he won’t make money on and isnt happy that they’re releasing music that he feels doesnt represent his growth. Has he really grown with his music since this material is maybe a year old and also features his current single Freaky Girl?

In other news can all the fake drug dealer rappers quit using the term traphouse for their groups, albums and songs. We know you were really wearing a backpack and in the school choir, not out on the streets hustling.

Come on now lets start this little movement right here. Im looking for a Pimp C reality show on VH1. This weekend while watching tv I notice two more reality shows that will debut this October. We’re now about to have the Salt N Pepa reality show and Irv Gotti and a reality show of him and his family. So Im saying where is the Pimp C reality show. There isnt a better show out there right now. So Im saying today, get with me and lets start the movement get Pimp C a reality show on VH1 real soon, ya heard me!!
