TI Denied Bond

Author: DigiPimp | Filed under: News

TI clifford harrisThats right TI got his first hearing in the courtroom today in cuffs and ankle bracelets and he was denied bond by the judge. The judge also set another court date to be on Friday for further review of the situation. As is standard the government wants him to remain in custody until trial and through trial as he is a prior felon and facing such serious charges poses a flight risk. It appears as though on Friday this will be further debated and reviewed and its not looking good for TI who is sure to start losing endorsement deals and even more while he sits in jail.

Many may not know but TI who’s real name is Clifford Harris is a father of 5, thats right 5 kids! He is facing some serious charges and will almost certainly go to trial as his attorneys say they want him completely exonerated of all charges. So stay tuned and we’ll all see what happens together as this case progresses.

T.I. Arrested By ATF

Author: DigiPimp | Filed under: News

TI clifford harrisThat title is exactly right Clifford Harris better known as the rapper T.I. has been arrested and is currently in federal custody. I’ve got the full text of the Department of Justice press release on the case.

Apparently a witness cooperated in setting up this and it all came together with a final raid of T.I.’s home yesterday in Atlanta where the ATF agents found quite a bit of firepower. The weapons are said to be machine guns, silencers and other assorted firearms, those are illegal to posses without a proper federal license, let alone being in the possession of a convicted felon. So keep reading to see the full DOJ press release.

United States Attorney David E. Nahmias
Northern District of Georgia

CLIFFORD HARRIS, a/k/a “T.I.,” ARRESTED ON FEDERAL FIREARMS CHARGES

Arrest Comes After Harris, a Convicted Felon, Accepted Delivery of Machine Guns and Silencers; Additional Guns Found In Harris’ Vehicle and House

Atlanta, GA CLIFFORD HARRIS, 27, an entertainer also known as “T.I.,” of College Park, Georgia, was arrested in Atlanta at approximately 2:30 p.m. today by agents of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives (ATF), as he allegedly took possession of three machine guns and two silencers. Yung Joc ‘Hustlenomics’ Episode 5

Author: DigiPimp | Filed under: Videos

I just had to show this to you because this has to be some of the dumbest worst shit I’ve ever seen from a so called southern rap artist. I can’t really hate on Joc for making money and taking advantage of what they let him get. But this video, I mean this video, you’ve really just got to watch it and tell me what the fuck was he thinking when he did this dumb shit. Does he really believe he’s sharing some game with people? I know it wasn’t done as a joke, but is this a video for a 15 year old watching MTV or is this for the so called hustlers keeping it real. If this is hustlenomics, which he got from pro wrestling thuganomics, then it’s a sad sad day in the industry.

Yung Joc ‘Hustlenomics’

Author: DigiPimp | Filed under: News

yung jocWith a title taken from pro wrestling (thuganomics anyone?) Yung Joc’s solo album hits the stores today. Now where do I start with this one, I haven’t even heard it and I know I probably never will. I’d like to hear from you that buy the album or will buy it why you like it and what made you buy it. Does your chain hang low or did you hear it at the coffee shop after you went backpack and sweater vest shopping? Do you dance to his songs at the club, or do all your BFF’s love it and have it on their myspace?

What is it about another album of nonsene and no real thought out of Atlanta that has captured your attention. I see big sales for this one and I won’t be surprised even a bit to see Yung Joc at #1 on the Billboard 200 next week with maybe 350,000 in sales. So speak up and let the world know what you think!

ATL vs TX or Trill vs Fake?

Author: DigiPimp | Filed under: Opinion

wack fake rapperWhen Pimp C spoke up in his interviews last week its as if he opened a whole can of worms. Is there a battle brewing in the south between the ATL and Texas, or is it just hype? I know personally Im not a fan of most of the music or the style that comes out of the ATL and believe me Im a fan of plenty more than just Texas rap. I like alot of what goes on in the east coast and actually grew up listening to west coast rap from the Bay to LA and loved it all. But something about this ATL rap and the style of music, I just can’t feel it or get into it.

I think Pimp directed alot of his attention at the ATL for a reason and even with an apology, he didnt apologize for the bulk of what he said and he stands by it today the same as the day he said it. Of course the ATL is part of the south and we all knew that regardless of what he originally said but he spoke on bigger things that got missed by a shitty interview that was all gossip and hype.

Pimp spoke on the game that is the music industry. Rappers trying to be someone their not, fakes claiming things they’ve never done, rap without any substance. It’s great to have a party song, or a song to get the club moving, but if 100% of what you’ve done has no substance, that speaks for itself. If you’re throwing out the talk then you better be able to back it up and walk it, not just talk it. So is a rap beef, battle or whatever you want to call it brewing between the ATL and Texas, could it make things elevate and get better or could it be a bad thing? Dont you at least like my pic of a wack wannabe rapper?

The Chronicles of Pimp C – Ozone Magazine Official

Author: DigiPimp | Filed under: News

chronicles of pimp c ozone magazineYou know I wouldnt be the one to gossip and speculate over rumors about artists so I went straight to the source and got a copy of the real Pimp C Interview straight from my girl Julia over at Ozone Magazine.

You already know Pimp C has never been a man to play word games or duck and hide an issue. He’s straight up and real when it comes to beef, his opinions of other artists, the rap game, the industry, record labels and life. So why would anyone expect anything less of him when asked directly to speak on some things. This is man who’s humble with the fans and straight up real, but he doesnt have a reason to hold back when speaking on the other things I’ve mentioned.

So here it is in all it’s glory the official Ozone Magazine Pimp C Interview straight from the source its The Chronicles of Pimp C. And make sure to check out that Ozone Magazine and their upcoming award show in August because they’re pulling no punches and bringing the heat. Click the pic to view the full size page and read the interview!

And if you ask me he’s calling it straight game. Truth is most of these rappers are fake and talking big and faking beefs to sell records. They’re controlled by the game, not controlling the game. Pimp C has always spoke real if you’ve ever heard him speaking. When I met up with him in Tyler he did the same. During his show he stopped and talked straight to the crowd about real business for 20 minutes in the middle of his set. So chances are if you dont feel what he’s saying then you’re one of those fakes he’s calling out.

Update: This one is catching fire so we’ve added the followup interview done by a local ATL radio station with Pimp C to address the firestorm thats been started with this interview before it hardly even hit the streets!
