What up, just like the name of the song. I’ve got the first leak off the upcoming Pimp C release and I have something to say about it but Im going to go ahead and hold back for now. I hope the money being made from this album makes it to the hands of his family. Im sure his people are looking out for him and Pimp is part of the reason I started into all of this shit so enjoy the music.

I dont post a lot of live performance video on here but sometimes its nice to put a little up if the sound quality is decent or it someone I know you really like. Ms Rivercity captured some video at a recent performance in ATL of Bun B doing a couple classics so I thought I’d go ahead and share it with you. Have a look and listen now!

Whats good people? Tonight the Twitter track of the night is a special one from the UGK legend Bun B. He recently got himself on Twitter and got started with the crazy world of tweeting and updating minute by minute. Tonight upon reaching 22,000 followers he leaked the intro track off the upcoming TrillOG project he’s dropping this Tuesday. The track is titled ‘Chuuch’ and you can hear J Prince and Pimp C both at moments so have a listen and enjoy! Remember we dont say RIP Pimp C here at TrillSouth we say Long Live the Pimp!!!

I threw the song up last week and this week I’ve got a little video of the studio session and some information about the track and how it went down.

Alright so I heard this track was making its way around today and then I got it and got a download. I listened and was thinking alright everyone was with this dude when he did that ‘Pants On the Ground’ shit so Im sure Bun will pick up where he left off and make it hot.

Well I listened to that track and thats not what happened. Im not sure what happened really because Bun took the opposite side and threw together some lyrics that were nothing like what I was expecting or hoping for. In fact I think this track is garbage after a few plays. I had respect for Bun and UGK was maybe my favorite hip hop ground next to the old school Geto Boys shit. Instead of Bun taking up where the original track left off he starts rapping about why his pants are on the ground and trapping, shopping at the galleria and all the Gucci & Louis shit. Its left me wondering what happened and how this happened. Is this what its come to?

Where my UGK people at today. I’ve got a new track with Bun B featured on it with GlC. The track is titled ‘Happiness Before Riches’ so its got a bit of a message in the title at least. I’ll let you listen to the track itself and decide how you feel about it. Long live the Pimp!

I know that Chalie Boy ‘I Look Good’ has already taken off in Texas but now Chalie has come back bigger with the official remix featuring some southern heavyweights. Im talking about features from Slim Thug, Bun B and Juvenile. So lets quit the chatting and get on to listening.

Check out the ATL homie Young Jeezy as he brings out Bun B at the AMW tour stop in Houston this past weekend. Im still not a fan of the tour but it’s good to see UGK 4 Life still going strong.

How about some live footage from the D Town homies Play N Skillz as they rock the mic with Bun B at a recent show. Not often you get some decent video footage like this but the audio is a little bit questionable.

How about a real trailer for some real music and a hot new video thats about to drop. This is got that throwback feel from the days of DJ Screw and the grey tapes that you used to throw in your deck while you were riding. This ‘Grey Cassette’ track features Bun B and Lil Keke along with Trae so you know its got that true Texas feel to it. I’ll let you just watch and enjoy and we’ll talk about it later.
