Here we go again, yet another example of the garbage that is Atlanta hip hop. Well I cant even call this hip hop to be honest with you, it’s more teen hop or dance music for the kids in high school. If you’re doing a Bird Walk and more than 18 years old then you might want to re-evaluate your lifestyle. Anyway this is the latest video for SouljaBoy and if you’re already a fan then you’ll love it, if you’re anything like me and a real true hip hop fan you’ll wonder why the fuck Im even posting it. Well I put up the good and the bad to show you whats really good. So if you find yourself doing the ‘Bird Walk’ at any point this weekend, kill yourself.

Wow here you go listen to him unfiltered and this isnt even some of the worst that you’ll find out there. This is something that he put up himself for the fans to check out. Seems like his music almost no substance and plenty of flash. So are you a Soulja Boy fan or are you a hip hop fan because I dont think you can be both.

You remember the name VIC from the summer hit ‘Get Silly’ with SouljaBoy heavily involved. Well now VIC is releasing this video ‘By Faith’ thats meant to be inspiring or thoughtful and Im dropping it on you to check out. Are you feeling VIC’s flow in this one or the theme? I know he’s talking about some serious shit but Im not sure Im feeling the flow. Either way it’s good to see someone saying something about things other than chains or clubs.

Well it’s finally the release of the full ‘Turn My Swag On’ video by SouljaBoy. I expressed my opinions on this one when I saw the preview. The track has a catchy beat and hook but pretty much no lyrical content which is typcial of a SouljaBoy track. He’s got a formula thats working for him and you cant hate him for exploiting that to get money. So here’s the video to what is likely to be a popular track with the teenage crowd. I find myself disgusted by the flaunting of money in the way he does it, especially in these rough economic times. It remains to be seen how long this weak formula will last and if SouljaBoy has some substance to share, Im guessing the answer is no.

Alright well Im sure you’re more than ready to see a new TI video. Check out this preview clip that TI has unleased onto the internet today. It’s from the ‘Live Your Life’ video featuring Rhianna. It’s short but looks dramatic and movie like. However Im not sure how much I can get into believing watching someone like TI try to be a tough guy and Rhianna’s voice is very annoying to me. Do you like the track, are you excited to see the video?

Its just a short trailer preview of the ‘Turn My Swag’ on video thats coming up real soon. So tell me the truth does hip hop need more of this bullshit. Im hoping with the way the economy is going and the world heading down with a recession and tough times that hip hop can be up at the front of making a statement. Waking up out of a bed and blowing your nose in money and flaunting money is the past, but for SouljaBoy it seems like its all he knows. A quick watch of almost any of his YouTube videos and you’ll see a kid without a clue showing off something different each time. So enjoy the trailer if this is what you’re into, but step your game up.

Ive kept mostly quiet on rappers suddenly having something to say about voting. Where have these guys been in the past and how active have they been? Do they really know whats up? Well I’ll keep my opinion to myself for the most part on this subject but I’ve got a little new video that Jeezy put up last night during the Presidential Debate. He’s telling you why he’s voting for Obama and that you should get out and vote too.

So TI earned himself another debut at the top of the Billboard 200 with ‘Paper Trail.’ He sold 568,000 copies going gold in his first week. How long until he’s platinum, Im guessing 4 weeks and he’ll hit. So did you buy a copy of this or are you going to go get one now that you see its so popular? Im still not a fan of TI or almost anything out of Atlanta but I know that many of you are. So tell me how you’re enjoying ‘Paper Trail’ and are you going to be sad that your man is soon to be locked up?

So tell me is this just one more reason why SouljaBoy is bad for hip hop or is it just funny and playful? Are these videos crossing the line especially in these tough times. As KRS One said do you have to do something to help your brothers and sisters out to gain a little respect to be able to floss like this? Sure its your right in this country to do whatever you please as long as its within the law. SouljaBoy has the right to floss and show off with his videos and have a good time. But is there a bigger picture to this and his videos and lack of respect for the world he lives in?
