Gucci Mane ‘Im the Shit’

Gucci ManeHow about some new Gucci Mane to start off this morning. This track has been pushed out as a single by Big Cat Records and you might not know who that is. Thats an indie label in Atlanta home to Gucci and a few other names. So check out this new track ‘Im the Shit’ and tell me if you think it’s the shit or it is shit. Gucci has been steady since he bust the scene open a few years ago and its looking to be a good fall for him.

Chill ‘My Money Strong’ feat Gucci Mane & Clay

chill million dollar manSo I was getting around to some of the cd’s that I got while I was at the SEA’s this year. It took me a minute but yesterday I threw this disc in my ride by a man who calls himself Chill AKA the million dollar man. It turns out it’s a small sampler cd with about 9 tracks and I started to listen to it and damn near every track was hitting hard. So I already knew you guys were fans of Gucci Mane, who’s featured on this track #6 ‘My Money Strong’ so I had to throw it up on the server and let you get a listen.

I think there is definite potential here. The music is good, it’s raw and it’s real. I liked almost everything I heard and I’m working to get in touch with Chill so that I can get you some of his real new stuff and possibly an audio interview for you to listen to. So for now check out this track and tell me if you can feel it or not.

Gucci Mane ‘Back To The Traphouse’

gucci mane back to the traphouseYeah the official Gucci Mane release has hit your local stores today. Are you interested, or do you already have it banging in your ride? I cant say Im a fan but I might peep it a little more since I’ve already heard most of it. Maybe it deserves a review or a few more listens for me to get serious about whether or not it’s worth the money. I know there’s been plenty of hype that seemed like it peaked a little too soon. The track with Pimp C seems to be banging, but that’s because every track Pimp C ever blessed was worth hearing. So get your your opinions in, if you’ve already got it or are thinking about getting it.

Gucci Mane Asking Fans Not To Buy Album

gucci maneYou read the title right Gucci Mane is actually asking his fans not to buy a new album Trap A Thon released on Big Cat Records. In a recently released statement Gucci claims that this album was released without his permission and was done prior to him signing his major label deal. So basically he doesnt want you to buy something he won’t make money on and isnt happy that they’re releasing music that he feels doesnt represent his growth. Has he really grown with his music since this material is maybe a year old and also features his current single Freaky Girl?

In other news can all the fake drug dealer rappers quit using the term traphouse for their groups, albums and songs. We know you were really wearing a backpack and in the school choir, not out on the streets hustling.

Hot Dollar ‘Streets On Lock’ Remix feat Rick Ross & Gucci Mane

hot dollarI posted a little thing about Hot Dollar not long ago on another site and the response wasn’t that good, but I’ve got a little more and a remix track this time featuring two southern names. It’s a remix of ‘Streets On Lock’ featuring Rick Ross and Gucci Mane, those are two names that I know you already know. So have a listen to this and tell me if this is any better than anything you’ve heard from Hot Dollar before, or if you’ve never heard of him, what do you think?

My opinion is that the track is still a little weak, its not horrible music by any means but the lyrics and beat aren’t top notch even with Rick Ross. Now Im a fan of Rick Ross and if you’ve got him on a track and I still dont feel it, then I dont know what to tell you. Of course Im just one man and Im sure there are plenty of opinions good and bad. So check out the Streets On Lock Remix!
