Kia Shine Responds To Three 6 Mafia [Video]

This guy sure has a lot to say and this isnt the first time he’s had something to say about the Three 6 boys. So what do you think, do you believe his line of bullshit? I remember seeing him at the SEA Awards but didnt think anything of it. Seems like he’s got a real chip on his shoulder about something and I dont care to take one side or another in a rap beef because they’re usually fake. Is this one fake, do you believe either side or do you even care? He sure is trying to come off as above it all but in person loves to get right into the hate and feed it.

Kia Shine, Whats Really Good?

kia shineSo I was at the SEA’s and since this seems to be a bit of a hot topic, why not throw my mouthpiece into the arena and get a little of the action. It’s bigger than Kia Shine but a lot of times these people have such ego’s that they cant see past being an example. Saying sales are down across the board is true but that doesnt mean it really hurt you. You might be able to sell even if everyone else was and why is that?

Rappers are looking for deals and looking for dreams. Alot of times they think you can sell them that magic in a bottle that gets them to the top, or simply signing with a major means you’ve made it. Well if all you really want is attention and a video on MTV then maybe thats all true, but if you want to stack some paper then indie grinding is becoming more and more the way to go. Dont believe that bullshit that’s being sold to you about majors and sales being down and half ass rappers like Kia Shine telling you that he’s got it all figured out and didnt get dropped because of shitty sales. Reality is you be what they want you to be, you dont sell and youre gone faster than you got your deal.

There were so many before you and there will be many more after. Dont get too big of a head to see the reality of the situation around you and make something out of it.

Kia Shine ‘I Be Everywhere’ feat Jim Jones

kia shineIt really seems like Kia Shine is trying to blow up big as of late. He’s got a new track called I Be Everywhere featuring Dipsets own Jim Jones. You’ll immediately recognize the voice and the track goes pretty hard but Im still not quite sure why I dont like it. Maybe because it’s about nothing and these days Im a little more into rap with a bit of a purpose and I just havent seen that from Kia Shine yet. I can’t hate him for getting money and doing his thing but without hearing more than 2 or 3 tracks from him I’ve yet to see substance.

So listen to the track by clicking on the pic and let people know what you think. Am I wrong? Do you disagree with me and like the track? Would you like to hear it in the club or your car, and are you going to buy his album or have you already?

Kia Shine ‘W.O.W.’

kia shineYeah there’s a question mark on this one because Im wondering if my people in the south can feel what this dude is doing? I didnt like the first single and I’ve added the second one here called ‘W.O.W.’ and I want to know if you like this one. I listened to it a couple times and I like the beat but the song isnt about much of anything and it’s more like some Atlanta type of bullshit about nothing but himself. Too much shine and not enough grime in this one for me. I see his ads and shit all over the place on the net though so I know that people are promoting him hard. Check out the new track and comment back! Click the image to listen to the track!

Play N Skillz 1st Annual All Star Event Pics

So you might remember when I told you about the 1st Annual Play N Skillz All Star bash that went down last weekend in Dallas. There were a lot of names on the roster and alot more people in attendance than I even realized there would be. I was looking to go myself but thanks to some unfortunate events (bent my new wheels on crappy Dallas streets) I was unable to go.

But last night my girl Gina hooked me up with some of the pics from the event and you’ll see from these photos it must have been pretty fun. But don’t worry as it says its an annual event and they’ll be back to do it again, bigger and better next year and you can be there! So here are the pics you can see everyone was there, Tum Tum, Play N Skillz, Lil Flip, Slim Thug, etc. and a few up and coming artists!
