Word on SOHH today is that southern indie hustler Killer Mike was reached out to by TI to join the Grand Hustle family. How do you feel about this and are you a Killer Mike fan already? This is definitely an interesting and possibly controversial track if I’ve heard one lately. It’s Killer Mike putting it down about the prison system but oddly enough mixed with audio clips of things that Charles Manson has said. Im not sure he’s the best source of help for making your point. Im sure there are any number of people that can say some crazy things about the prison system, but Charles Manson is stretching it just a little. It does make for a hot sounding track though and might get a little extra attention because of it.

Looks like another rap beef is about to bust wide open. Im talking this time about Killer Mike coming back at Big Boi with some serious words. If you dont already know Killer Mike claims he fired his boss not the other way around and he wants to clear things up and take it to a new level. Yeah it’s that brand new Killer Mike video featuring hip hop veteran Ice Cube. I’ve been a Cube fan since back in the day when I was just a young hard head. This video is some serious shit though and Killer Mike is looking to make an impact. They say political hip hop is back when they put this one out, is it? It’s a brand new track from that boy Killer Mike. He says he’s the shit and the song is titled ‘Im the Shit’ but is it the shit? I listened to it and I guess I missed it because it’s not the shit. Thats just the opinion of one man so dont take it to mean more than that. I guess I just don’t feel much of what comes out of Atlanta for some reason. Are you feeling this track, is it the shit?
