Thats right that shit is official right there. Lil Wayne’s ‘Carter III’ according to Billboard scanned over 423,000 in sales on the very first day of sales. That’s pretty fucking impressive considering the way music is selling these days. In the past several months 423,000 units in the opening week would get you the #1 spot on Billboard 200. So it’s a lock that Lil Wayne will open with the #1 spot. That was never in doubt for me even though Im not a fan. The real question is will Wayne be able to go platinum in one week or will sales taper off a bit and put him somewhere in the 750,000 area for the week? Its just like they always say all publicity is good publicity. Controvery or not, stupid comments and arrests there’s no doubt after this that Wayne is the biggest star in hip hop like him or not!

Well the day has finally come, its judgement day for Lil Wayne and all his hype, controversy and mixtape madness. It’s the release date of the ‘Carter III’ and I want to know are you getting a copy or passing on this one. Ill tell you right off you already know that Im not a fan of Lil Wayne but this album is going to come in #1 on Billboard next week, sales will likely be over 350,000 in the first week and this album is on its way to getting Weezy a platinum plaque. Some are calling this a classic and the teens are fiending for this release and you know they get money from their parents so they’re not afraid to buy. The leaks havent hurt this album at all in fact you’ll soon find out they made it part of what it is and were important in the hype. Without the leaks this album was to be released with a little less quality and months ago to less fanfare. Now its time to blow up and unfortunately we wont be done hearing about Lil Wayne for quite some time now.

Damn they’re pushing these little episodes out fast and I’ve got number 3 ready for you to peep. This time it’s about writers from various media outlets reflecting on Wayne’s career and talking about the huge media buzz for the upcoming album release. This episode details his cameo appearances and mixtape music. It seems like a fucking Lil Wayne overload on here and you already know he’s my least favorite rapper, but he is big news right now so I’ll fight on and let you view and discuss amongst yourselves.

I have been for a long time but the rest of you seem clueless about this fake blood man kissing got all his tats after getting rich should be thanking god for mixtapes pussy by the name of Lil Wayne. This dude got where he is right now by busting his ass doing massive amounts of tracks and where did they all go? They didnt go to albums, they went to mixtapes and thats where 90% of his heat came from. He should be thanking the mixtape game and helping to legitimize them but that just wouldnt be Wayne. If you haven’t seen that this dude is so blind to the facts of the world and in such a drug induced daze day and night, then I dont know who you’ve been watching.

Yeah it finally happened Lil Wayne has reached the #1 spot for the first time on Billboard Hot 100 with the ‘Lollipop’ track. I dont know about you but I cant hear that track it’s just horrible. But the fans are loving Lil Wayne these days and it’s showing with 183,000 downloads tracked. So tell me what’s your reaction when you hear this track on the radio or tv?

So it surfaced in the past week or so, the ‘Carter III’ cover and it was pushed back again at the same time. It appears that Amazon.com was the first source of the new cover and its not likely a fake. But then again it could change since this piece has been pushed back again and again. So it’s been more than a few minutes that fans have been waiting to get their hands on Lil’ Wayne’s Carter III album.
