The flood gates are opening and all that new Chamillionaire material is starting to hit the streets. He keeps the internet going nuts and this fall is no different. Mixtape Messiah 5 and an upcoming solo LP are on the way. Here’s the latest single that Cham wants to drop on the fans. It’s titled ‘Creepin’ featuring Ludacris. So listen to the track and let Cham and all of TrillSouth know how you feel about it!
Let me put it out there real quick Im sharing this because it’s TrillSouth and Im about that southern shit. Saying that I’ll tell you that Im not feeling this shit at all. I guess it’s bringing screwed music to a bigger audience in a way but theres no tribute to DJ Screw and on top of that this song is just bullshit. It’s corny shit singing to some women or some shit and they’re not even being true to chopped and screwed like the real DJ Screw would have done it. Ill let you watch the video and decide how you feel on your own though, but Im not feeling this shit at all.
In a bit of a surprise appearance at this weekends Dub Car Show in Houston video was captured of Chamillionaire and Paul Wall on stage together again. It didnt stop there as they brought up Trae and then Ludacris, and finally Hurricane Chris to the stage all at the same time. It’s going down in Texas no matter what the haters and the ATL bloggers say. Texas rap is still the heart of the southern rap scene. So get ready to cop that Mixtape Messiah 4 and reminisce about the good times and the future because it’s getting brighter!
Well we all know that Ludacris knew what he was doing when he made this track and it’s heating up quickly. After appearing on the DJ Drama ‘The Preview’ mixtape at the beginning of the week, its now all over the news. Whether it’s the Huffington Post, MSNBC, Fox News or O’Reilly himself and now Barack Obama weighing in on it, you’re going to hear alot about this track this week and weekend.
So I thought I’d post it up since everyone else is quoting and you can hear it for yourself. I’ll even post the quote released from the Obama camp today denouncing the song from Ludacris. Luda was expecting this Im sure and it just gives him some much needed publicity for his upcoming album. The mixtape itself is fire and this isnt even one of the good tracks off of it. So check out the track and the statement and get your opinion on!
As Barack Obama has said many, many times in the past, rap lyrics today too often perpetuate misogyny, materialism, and degrading images that he doesn’t want his daughters or any children exposed to,” campaign spokesman Bill Burton said in an e-mail statement. “This song is not only outrageously offensive to Sen. Clinton, Rev. Jackson, Sen. McCain and President Bush, it is offensive to all of us who are trying to raise our children with the values we hold dear. While Ludacris is a talented individual he should be ashamed of these lyrics.
You cant tell me you didnt already download this shit when it came out at the beginning of the week! I know there are plenty of Luda fans reading TrillSouth and Im sorry to say that Im not one of them but this is better than average Luda.
This is back to the future Luda with a little funk and a lot of lyrical music. I posted up that ‘Still Spittin’ track and it’s on here right at #2 and I know you’ll love that shit if nothing else. So cop the mixtape and get ready for a hot fall release from Ludacris into your local stores and iTunes! Gangsta Grillz!
Those other so called hip hop sites still arent up on this shit yet, but you are!
Alright you probably heard about that DJ Drama Gangsta Grillz mixtape with Ludacris that’s about to drop. Well I’ve got a track titled ‘Still Spittin’ thats over that Slim Thug ‘Still Tippin’ beat and I think you’ll want to listen to it. Are you feeling Luda? Is he too commercial for you or is this DJ Drama mixtape a sign of him bringing it back to where he came from. Either way the track isnt bad and Im not a Ludacris fan, but I can listen to it and handle it. Peep the track and get ready because that Gangsta Grillz Ludacris is dropping tomorrow!
So I’ve had a few people email me asking about this video and if I knew about it and what I thought or why I hadn’t put it up. It’s just a couple days before TI was arrested at some of the pre party events in Atlanta before the BET Hip Hop Awards. Ludacris is up on stage performing when bam out of nowhere there is TI right next to him with the hood on looking inconspicuous. Luda pushes his hood back and the crowd sees what is really going down.
Now was this an insult or was this really two men coming together to squash the so called beef. From the looks of it and my opinion it appears as though TI was squashing it and making a point that it’s about getting money. It’s not about all the other bullshit. So it’s real interesting how this went down right before he was busted by the ATF for a large collection of offensive type guns, not personal protection. You watch the video and be the judge for yourself.
That’s what Im talking about a couple of new remixes from Ludacris and Chingy for you to listen to in the middle of the week. Luda is definitely working to get that DTP thing happening from store openings to interviews and appearances he’s everywhere and so are they. So we’ve got a couple tracks for you to check out.
First it’s 50 Cent featuring Ludacris on the I Get Money Remix
and next it’s J Holiday featuring Chingy with the Bed Remix
So enjoy the tracks and hit the comments back and let everyone know how you feel and if you want more!
Maybe you’ve heard of DTP records. That’s Ludacris’ squad of artists also known as Disturbing the Peace. Well his latest addition the Playaz Cirle have dropped a new track that is starting to heat up on the streets of the ATL and work its way out through the south. I’ve got the new track and inside it’s the full bio and info on the Playaz Circle so you can learn who they are and what they’re all about if you like what you hear. So here’s the track “Duffle Bag Boy” from the upcoming DTP Compilation “Strength In Numbers”
