Whats up people I’ve got something I know you definitely havent seen yet. My homeboy from Oklahoma City Chris McCain told me he had a new video to share with the south, TrillSouth. So here it is, it’s the O walk. It looks like a mix of some of the latest dances and hits out there like the Dougie and so on all combined. Oklahoma is part of the south in case a lot of you forget. Whats good people I’ve got some of that good shit from Oklahoma and my homeboy Chop Chop AKA Chop Balboa. Im talking about a new track titled ‘Strut’ featuring Lil Boosie. You already know that shit is banging if Boosie got on the track. Chop sent this to me a minute back and I finally got around to getting it up. Shout out to Chop and my people at the Presidential Trap House, they’re doing it bigger and bigger all the time and 08 is looking good, but 09 is going to shine! So enough of my bullshit lets get on to listening to the track and share your comments with us people!

Damn my boy Chop Chop went and did that shit. Check out his brand new video for the track ‘Red Durt’ because this is that real shit that Oklahoma has been waiting to be recognized for. Chop and the Presidential Trap House boys have been working hard to put it down for more than a minute now. They’re up on OKC steady grinding, representing Oklahoma and Chop is still repping that dirty little town Hugo, OK. I know some of my Hugo people are reading this shit.

You know I dont know if you noticed but in some pics from this past weekend I caught up with my man from Hugo, OK. Im talking about Chop Chop AKA Chop Balboa of the Presidential Trap House. If you dont already know he’s been beating up the scene in Oklahoma for more than a minute now and some of the midwest and south as well. Im going to drop a new track of his on you and let you judge for yourself what you think. If you like it we’ll see more.

Alright I’ll be honest you’ll see more either way because this is one of my people and this is my site. But we dont have to take it there, this is real music and Chop always goes hard, so enjoy the track and stay tuned for more!

Just a few days ago I hear word from my boys in OKC, that’s Oklahoma City that Chris McCain has done a little hood video shoot for his song J’s On My Feet and that its up and ready to be viewed. So you know I’ve mentioned him a few times on here and he’s always out with some of the guys from the 405 grinding on the streets. So I thought I’d share it with you all as I always like to spotlight some of the Indie scene and real people doing real things. If you’re a fan of J’s or Jordans if you’re not up on the slang, then you’ll probably relate to this song and video. Me I dont wear Jordans and never have, but that’s another discussion.

It’s about time that I do another Indie Spotlight on here. I always want to keep close to the streets and the people who are trying to make it in the game. So this time I’ll let you in with another peek on a few underground artists that are out grinding and trying to get in the game.

Lets start with a guy that I’ve met a few times, Im talking about Chris McCain. I thought I’d give him another little shout on here so that you could check out his page. He’s been doing it for a minute and is starting to catch more buzz, he’s from the OKC, that’s Oklahoma City for those of you that don’t already know. Check out his myspace page and listen to J’s On My Feet and be on the lookout for a possible video soon.

Then next up is my man from the H, that’s Short Texas. You might have checked out some of the free mixtape tracks that he gave me to share with you recently. If you did you got a few hot tracks for free that are going to be hitting the streets on his upcoming mixtape. Short is definitely got that Houston sound and swagger and I know you’re going to like his music.

I’ll leave it at 2 for this week but I’ve got more coming and I’ll always continue this series for the people that are out there grinding hard and making a name for themselves. That’s where real hip hop lives in the south, with the people in the streets and at the clubs handing out discs or selling them for $5 trying to make it to the next day.
