Today Plies dropped his first single “Look Like” from his upcoming album “Goon Affiliated” set to drop on May 25th.

Off top, this is just a typical Plies track: basic beat, basic hook, basic message; not much more to expect from him. The best part of this track are it’s features: Young Jeezy and Fabolous and even those are sub-par.

Honestly, I’m not the biggest Plies fan at all, so maybe this is just me being judgmental, so take a listen for yourself.

Seems like people are trying to get at Plies here lately and accusing him of not being a street dude. I’ve listened to some of his shit and it didnt really sound too much to me like he was trying to be a street dude but I might not have heard everything he did. Sounded more like he was trying to put out some real shit and you dont have to always have lived shit to be able to talk about it. I know there are a lot of fans on here that like Plies and he definitely tries to keep the fans fresh with new music videos and his internet shit. This time I got an email blast with a new track titled ‘Becky’ and I wasnt going to post it but I got bored and I’ll throw it up tonight. I’ll let you listen and decide what he’s talking about, it’s pretty obvious but you can decide on your own. Definitely sounds like below average type of music from Plies, but thats just one mans opinion.

Its a pretty uneventful video and Ill admit he was asked his opinion rather than just starting up offering it, but its still boring and who the fuck is this guy anyway. He goes on to talk about everyone from Plies to Rick Ross and offer up his opinion on artists and who they are and what they do. I guess he’s got some points but like they say even a broken clock is right twice a day.
