Once again I’ve got what some are calling a freestyle but Im not really sure it is. I can tell you one thing though it’s new Rick Ross material and the Boss has got a few things to say and has had a hell of a year so far. So if you’re a Rick Ross fan or not I think you’ll want to cop this download and give it more than a few plays to feel it. Are you feeling as comfortable as Ross?

Rick Ross ‘This Is The Life’ Feat. Trey Songz [Video]
Author: DigiPimp | Filed under: VideosA new Rick Ross video and it’s not about some CO bullshit! It’s a video for the track ‘This Is The Life’ which might have been my favorite track on the ‘Trilla’ album. The song is hot and the video is done in true boss style black and white. So take a minute and enjoy some of the music from Rick Ross and take a few seconds to put aside the bullshit whether it’s real or not, deserved or not. This track and video are hot and they’re brand new!
Seems like theres a new beef everyday and this one is just starting to heat up. I’ve got this brand new freestyle that just surfaced of Ross rapping over Snoop’s ‘Life of the Party’ and he’s got a little something to say. Word is he’s not looking to comment to the press but is going to comment via his music. We’ll see if that changes as theres a video I’ll throw up today showing more photos of Ross as a CO, along with claims of more to come. I dont see what the big deal is personally but it’s escalating because Ross denies he was ever a CO and says the original photo was a photoshop. So check out this track where Ross fires back at the blogs and whoever is trying to out him. Lookout for more potential beef as it appears DJ Khaled is hopping in and going against Ross!
Oh shit it’s finally busting wide open and the Smoking Gun website has weighed in on things today and it appears that Rick Ross was a CO for a whole 18 months. Thats way more than all the stories of him failing the background check or never making it out of the academy. The real question is why would Ross even deny this story. What does it say about hip hop that having a real job makes you lose all credibility in the game. Do you have to have been a dopeboy to be able to talk about the game? Do you have to have never had a real job. How many rappers even had a basic shitty job at a gas station, grocery store or restaurant even for just a short time, does that destroy their credibility? If Rick Ross suffers from this one its his own fault. He should have owned up to the job and then moved on quickly because he’s making good music. Here’s the text from their story.
JULY 21–Apparently desperate to distance himself from any affiliation with law enforcement, the rapper Rick Ross has recently denounced as fake photos purporting to show him in a former career as a Florida prison guard. But Department of Corrections (DoC) records show that Ross, whose raps detail the Miami gangster lifestyle and his supposed days trafficking cocaine, did, in fact, work as a correctional officer for 18 months. Ross (real name: William Leonard Roberts) was appointed a prison guard in December 1995 at a salary of $22,913.54, according to the below personnel record, which was provided to TSG by Jo Ellyn Rackleff, a DoC spokesperson. The rapper’s social security number is identical to that of the jail guard. According to the official document, Ross was earning $25,794.34 when he left the department in June 1997. After graduating from the DoC training academy, Ross was assigned to the South Florida Reception Center in Dade County (the lockup is one of three statewide that serves as an intake facility for new prisoners). When a photo of a uniform-clad Ross surfaced last week on MediaTakeOut.com, the 32-year-old performer claimed that unnamed “online hackers” put “my face when I was a teenager in high school on other peoples’ body. If this shit was real don’t you think they would have more specifics, like dates and everything?” He added, “Fake pictures are created by the fake, meant to entertain the fake.” The photo, which you can find here, shows a 19-year-old Ross at a DoC ceremony (he was part of the department’s 60th graduating class). He is pictured shaking hands with Marta Villacorta, who then headed the South Florida Reception Center. Villacorta, now the department’s South Florida regional director, was identified by Rackleff, who examined the photo Ross claims was Photoshopped. In a recent videotaped interview, Ross replied, “No, that’s not true” when asked if he had worked as a prison guard. He claimed that the phony story was being circulated by detractors upset by his success in the rap world, where, “I came out of nowhere and just took over the streets.”
More beef and bullshit. This time it’s Trick Daddy saying how Rick Ross used to be a PO, CO or whatever the fuck they’re calling it. A little pic has been circulating and who knows if its real or not. You’d think if it really was Ross and he held that job that it would be easier to get some evidence of. I dont know if it’s real or not, but real people dont bullshit about rumors and gossip like cheerleaders. What happened to Trick Daddy and his career that he’s coming at all the other big names in Florida these days? Is he just speaking the truth or is he trying to bring his career back to bigger things? Check out the video where Rick Ross responds to the rumors and Trick Daddy.
Whats up people Im about to drop a little remix track on you that’s got some of my boy Wes Fif. You know Im supporting him and he’s TrillSouth certified. So here’s a hot remix of the track ‘Speedin’ that Im sure you’ve already heard the regular song. Well Wes Fif hops on here and adds a little of his flavor to the track along with Rick Ross and Plies. I think you’re going to like what you hear, so check it out.
Man I had this for a minute and forgot. I know you already liked that Yung Ralph ‘Look Like Money’ track. But I’ve had the remix just sitting for a minute and forgot to share it with you because I got caught up in everything else going on. This remix features none other than the boss, Rick Ross. So let me finally drop it on you and let you tell me if it’s hotter than the original, or if they should have stuck with classic.
Birdman ’100 Million’ Video
Author: DigiPimp | Filed under: UncategorizedIt was only a few days ago that I talked about the anticipation around this video. There was a trailer and alot of talk about what the Birdman was going to do. Well now the video is here and I dont know if you’ll feel like me, but Im disappointed. I’ll let you be the judge like I do with everything else. It’s only one mans opinion, but mine is not a good one. I’ll admit Im not a Birdman fan to start with, so that might influence me a bit. But Im also tired of songs about nothing but money, jewelry and cars, of which Birdman has done plenty of.
So enjoy the video and share your thoughts. It’s full of plenty of guest features such as Young Jeezy, Dre, Rick Ross and Lil Wayne. Of course theres also a little of DJ Khaled who’s screaming of ‘We the best’ is sure to drive you crazy one way or another.
It’s yet another track from Rick Ross as he preps his release Trilla. This time it’s featuring R Kelly and love him or hate him Kelly always adds heat to a track with his vocals. Rick Ross is still a boss and this track is a little too pop for my tastes but it’s going to be popular with the ladies at the very least. So click the pic to have a listen to the track and then comment back. Trilla is still scheduled to drop into stores on December 18th.
DJ Storm ‘Drank Epidemic 10 & 10.2′ Lil Keke Mixtape
Author: DigiPimp | Filed under: Mixtapes
Finally we got a little new Lil Keke material. Being into the southern rap game for a minute now I know I was looking forward to that Keke album all year but it hasn’t made it out yet. So new material and a lot of it is something that I know I am happy to see.
It’s a new mixtape, a double in fact done by DJ Storm featuring Lil Keke and plenty of guests such as Fat Pat, Trae, Killa Kyleon, Yung Redd and a few others. The second half of the mixtape is just that real down south shit. It’s full of Rick Ross, Scrappy, Boosie, Yung Joc, Gorilla Zoe and alot of others. So you’re looking at 48 tracks in total and a full disc of Keke material. So get a listen and then get a download on when you decide you can handle it. I know Im copping the download right now so I can get it playing in my ride real soon.
On a little other news tip, Keke shot a video in the past couple weeks so hopefully I can get my hands on it and get it up on here real soon. So stay on the lookout and if you see it first let me know, but I bet I see it before you do, thats my job!
