Shoutout to Ms Rivercity for throwing up the official video for Shawty Lo off his upcoming ‘Im Da Man 3′ mixtape with DJ Scream. Im not sure how you’ll feel about it but this is just as much as part of the south as anything else I suppose. Shawty Lo bounces back and forth from pop to street music and I’ll let you decide where this one fits in for yourself.

Looks like all the ATL stars came out recently for Shawty Lo as he was shooting his new video ‘Atlanta GA.’ The behind the scenes video just went up and I got it for you. Yeah yeah we know Im not a fan of the ATL so we wont even go down that road, just watch and enjoy if this is your type of shit.

I guess these ATL people still think they know how to get it poppin and Shawty Lo is back on it again. This time he’s got a little anthem for his home the ATL along with features from Ludacris, Gucci Mane and The Dream.

I cant too much get into any of these ATL dudes especially these four are some of the worst to me. I know a lot of you are fans of Gucci, SouljaBoy, OJ or even Shawty Lo. I think they represent some of the worst music in hip hop and the shiny suit culture along with fake ass trap music. This dude talking about a magical moment and Shawty Lo talking about doing something positive. What the fuck were they all smoking with that bullshit. But they’re appearing on the XXL magazine cover all together at the same time with their jewelry or labels of course, so check it out.

Its some brand new music from Shawty Lo. He’s starting to put himself back out there as he prepares his album for release and this is one of the early tracks leaking. It’s got plenty of features on this ’911′ track including Rick Ross & Bun B, two heavyweights in the hip hop game right now. But do you like the sound or feel of the track. You wont be surprised to know that I dont but its your opinion that counts. Im just one man, so listen up and speak up.

Damn I was disappointed when I got this track in my inbox. It brought back memories of the Pimp C 16.5 track and when he was calling out some ATL rappers about spreading nonsense and lies in their music. I remember the track ’16.5 nigga thats too high’ and then I get a track titled ’17.5′ and these dudes are talking about getting it for 17.5 with Shawty Lo in the background saying he got it for the L O. Then you throw in some E 40 with the remix of this track and I’ve been an E 40 fan from back in the day. Maybe you like this shit, Im getting kind of negative it seems but a lot the music thats popular is garbage lately.

Check out some MySpace music haha. Seriously though I guess Shawty Lo is getting back at it again and DJ Scream is presenting this video through his YouTube. It’s Shawty Lo & La Cosa Nostra with some more ATL type trap muzik shit that you know Im not a fan of but I know many of you love it.

So what happened to that Shawty Lo & TI beef? It seems like after TI dropped his music video everything got a little quiet on both sides and they moved on. Im not sure what Lo was wanting to get out of the whole thing and many thought the ‘Roll the Dice’ track was another shot at TI but somehow Lo tries to explain that it wasn’t. Either way I get a disappointing feeling about this fake rap beef that fell off. It had some potential and ended up being another waste of time much like both of these artists are to me. I guess thats more of the ATL for you.

Maybe the name J Cardim is familiar to you but maybe its not. Either way the man is a top producer in hip hop and on the verge of dropping a heavyweight style mixtape and I’ve got one of the upcoming tracks for you featuring a couple southern rappers I already know you know. Im talking about this track ‘Born & Raised’ featuring Shawty Lo, Paul Wall and Ghost Wridah. Peep the track and see whats good.
